💰 Monero (XMR) Guide for DrugHub Market

DrugHub accepts ONLY Monero (XMR). Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not supported.

Why Monero?

Monero provides superior privacy compared to Bitcoin:

  • Ring Signatures: Transaction origins are hidden among decoy outputs
  • Stealth Addresses: One-time addresses for each transaction
  • RingCT: Transaction amounts are encrypted
  • Untraceable: No public blockchain analysis possible

Step 1: Download Monero Wallet

Official GUI Wallet: getmonero.org/downloads
Mobile: Cake Wallet or Monerujo
Hardware: Ledger hardware wallet support

Step 2: Create Wallet

  1. Download and verify official Monero GUI wallet
  2. Select "Create new wallet"
  3. Write down 25-word seed phrase (keep offline!)
  4. Set strong password
  5. Choose remote node or sync full blockchain

Step 3: Receive Monero

Your Monero address starts with "4..." - Use this to receive XMR from exchanges.

Step 4: Send to DrugHub

  1. Copy deposit address from DrugHub account
  2. Paste into "Send" tab of Monero wallet
  3. Enter amount + verify address
  4. Wait for 10 confirmations (~20 minutes)

Privacy Tips

  • Use dedicated wallet for darknet transactions
  • Never reuse addresses from clearnet services
  • Consider churning (self-sends) for extra privacy
  • Purchase XMR with cash or non-KYC exchanges
